cracks over 24 crore Kaithal overbridge

Kaithal: Rs 24 crore Kaithal overbridge  inaugurated by Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda here yesterday in the presence of  PWD Minister Randeep Singh Surjewala and MP Naveen Jindal have developed cracks in the top bitumen concrete layer.

The contractor has started immediate repair work to rectify the defects in the cracked portion  after the directions of the PWD authorities.

According to information PWD has taken note of some defects in this portion and has directed the contractor to remove the loose layers and get the portion filled with strong concrete cement mixture to check seepage of water.
