Two killed many injured in a road accident in Himachal

Nahan (Himachal): As many as two persons were killed while more than one dozen were injured when a pickup carrying the passengers rolled down into a deep gorge in the interior area of the Shillai block late evening today. According to information the seriously injured were taken to civil hospital Paonta sahib and the deceased and injured were yet to be
identified. Sources of the Police said that the possibilities of more casualties could not be ruled out. According to the information the ill fated vehicle (HP 17 B-2302) was on its way to timbbi from Bakras which rolled down into Chumran khud, the cause of the mishap was yet to be ascertained. When contacted, SP Puneeta Bhardwaj confirmed that the vehicle carrying the passengers for attending the marriage function met with an accident but also added that the identification was yet to be done. Due to the darkness the rescue team was also facing problem.
