Himachal Tourism to offer attractive packages for tourists on X-Mass & New Year

Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. (HPTDC) has made special and attractive arrangements for the tourists in its Hotels by floating packages for celebrating X-Mass and New Year.
This was stated by Vineet Kumar, Managing Director, HPTDC here today. The special celebrations will take place in Hotel Holiday Home Shimla, Palace Hotel Chail, Peterhof Shimla, Pinewood Barog, Manimahesh Dalhousie, Dharamsala and Manali Complexes.
Managing Director said that special packages were available in Hotel Holiday Home for New Year Eve which would include Gala Nite followed by DJ Music, Dine ‘N’ Dance with multiplicity of snacks, three course meals, Himachali, Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisine food and attractive prizes to the winners of the various events. Painting competition for children between 8-12 years on 24th December, 2010 will also be organized. He further informed that the Heritage Premium Hotel, The Chail Palace would also be offering special packages for the tourists which include Room Rent, Cocktail Drinks with Snacks, Sumptuous Dinner, Gala Nite Show on 31st December, 2010 and bed tea & breakfast on 1st January, 2011. Many Attractive prizes for winners of different dance competitions would be distributed. Tambola/Housie, DJ + Live Band and Kullu Folk Dance are the attractions of celebrations for X-Mass and New Year Eve in HPTDC Manali Complex.
He said that Corporation had already announced winter discount upto 30% in its all hotels but this would not be available from 23rd December, 2010 to 2nd January, 2011 in the these Hotels due to X-Mass and New Year Packages. HPTDC has also started Volvo Bus from 15th December, 2010 from Shimla to Kalka to Chandigarh Railway Station. The service would facilitate the passengers for boarding Paschim Express and Shatabadi Express at Chandigarh/ Kalka.
