Himachal to file contempt petition against Delhi Government

New Delhi: Himachal Pradesh govt will file contempt petiition against Delhi government in Delhi High Court for its failure to implement the interim  orders of Delhi High Court in which Delhi High Court had directed the, Delhi
Agriculture Marketing Board and APMC Azadpur Mandi to enforce the APMC
bye laws to ensure that commission shall be  charged   from buyers instead of sellers( fruit, vegetable growers etc)  who come to the APMC Azadpur mandi to sell their produce in Asia”s largest fruit and vegetable market.
The decision was taken at high level meeting convened by Himachal horticulture minister Narender Bragta  with top govt officials and legal experts at Himachal Bhawan New Delhi today.

Mr. Bragta horticulture minister asked the top lawyers to  send contempt notices against Delhi govt , Chairman Delhi agriculture and marketing board and Chairman APMC immediately and file contempt petition in the Delhi high court afterwards  to ensure the implemenation of interim orders of Delhi
high court .
Earlier Himachal agriculture secretary Ram Subhag Singh met with principal secy cum commissioner  development of  Delhi govt Mr. D. M.  SPOLIA in Delhi secretariat and requested him to pass necessary orders to implement the Delhi high court interim orders and also requested him to take immediate effective steps before next date of hearing i.e 27 th july 2010
