Himachal &Uttrakhand police successfully nabbed six robbers
Nahan: Himachal and Uttrakhand police have successfully nabbed six robbers in an encounter operation in the forests situated in the Uttrakhand. As per as the information police of both the states collected secret information about the hide outs of the robbers in the forests in Uttrakhand. Three Robbers were involved in the robbery from a trader in Devi nagar of the Paonta sahib on 14th September. As per as the information Deharadun police got the information about the presence of suspicious people in the forests situated on Dharmawala (Uttrakhand) –Paonta Sahib road. According to the further information this information was shared with Himachal Police after which the forest was rounded up by the police of both the states. Sources said that robbers started firing on the police of Uttrakhand in the reply of which police also forced to fire.
DSP Paonta sahib Virender Thakur said that three out of six robbers were included in the robbery of Paonta sahib on 14th September. He said that one arrested Naseem belongs to Bhagani of Paonta Sahib. Other accused are identified as Raiees, Navijaan, Mujahid and Aamil, Ashok Pandit of Uttar Pardesh. As per as the further information Uttrakhand police have also recovered five kilogram silver,12 round of bullets and local made pistol from the possession of the robbers. Robbers has admitted the robbery in Paonta sahib and Harbatpur (Uttrakhand). It is worthwhile to mention here that this gang of robbers had also robbed five lakhs ruppees from a jewelry shop in Uttrakhand recently.
