Export of services to be theme of Himachal pavilion

New Delhi: Exports of services will be main theme of Himachal pavilion during India international trade fair 2009 being held at Pragati Maidan New Delhi from 14th November to 27th November 2009 said R.R.  Patiyal Himachal Pavillion director here today.

He told that total 25 stalls, 20 sales counters and 14 display windows have been set up in 1422 sq mts area of the Himachal Pavillion and added that prestigious Private companies like spice jet, NIIT and department of information technology has been provided the front space to show case their services and added that besides it the Himachal tourism has been provided information counters for bookings during coming winter season .

Himachal Pavillion director R R Patiyal told that massive security and fire safety arrangements have been made in the pavilion keeping in view the guidelines of the delhi police and told that 70,000 litres capacity underground water storage tank and 10,000 litres capacity   Overhead Water Storage Tank     has been set up in the pavilion. He told that  26 Nos  Automatic Smoke Detectors, 5 Nos Manual Call points,42 Nos Portable Fire Extinguishers,  3 Nos Hose Reels,3set  Hose Branch ,three  Emergency Exits  within 30 mts distance has been set up in the pavilion

R.R.Patyal director Himachal Pavilion   that from security point of view, 8 CCTV cameras have been provided at strategic locations with facility for continuous recording for 960 hrs. The Door Frame Metal Detector (DFMD) and Hand Held Metal Detector have been provided and will also be manned by the trained staff.  Lady Security Guards have been deployed and added that frisking of all the incoming visitors will be done by trained staff. He   told that   31sprinklers have been set up to ensure total safety and security of the visitors and exhibitors.

He told that  Kishan Kappor industries minister will be chief guest  on Himachal day function  to be held at Lal Chowk theatre  on 22 November 2009. He told that the entire building and the each of the compartments are individually ventilated with openings and exhaust fans and the ventilation in the Pavilion has been provided with Ventilator windows and exhaust fans.

R.R. Patyal director Himachal pavilion   told that   A stand by electrical generator of 25 KVA capacity three phase capable of operating on remote control have been provided for operation of electric pump for operation of fire system and 16 emergency lights have been provided in the passage/stair cases inside the Pavilion to ensure round the clock electricity in the pavilion

26 smoke detectors, two hooters and 8 zone control panel have been provided in all areas of the building through automatic detection system and Five manual call points have been provided inside the pavilion as per ISI specifications to run manually operative fire alarm system.

A qualified fire officer and four trained firemen have been deployed inside the pavilion. to manage the fire equipments R.R.Patyal added
