15 crore project for Renuka area in Himachal
Nahan: The Himachal government would consider 50 percent subsidy to the farmers on the farm crops and has posed an Rs 270 crore organic farming project for funding by Japan Bank of international cooperation. This was stated by Chief Minister Prof Prem Kumar Dhumal while addressing inaugural function of the week long state level traditional Renuka fair at Renuka ji late evening yesterday. Chief Minister said that Rs. 15 crore Renuka tourism development circuit had been envisioned for sustainable development of Renuka ji area. He said that additionally Rs 12.97 crore had also been sanctioned for various development activities .Chief Minister also said that one more private university would be opened in the district with a view to give a boost to quality education in the district. Chief Minister Prof Prem Kumar Dhumal said that 40 MW Renuka dam management would not igore the interests of the oustees but it should be practical and viable. Earlier chief Minister Prof Prem Kumar Dhumal interacting with media persons said that the government was planning to equipped vigilance department with modern facilities. He said that BJP had promised with the people of the state to take a strict action against the corrupted employees and officers before the vidhan sabha so government was trying to fulfill the promises. Chief Minister said that there was legal binding on the government to reinstate the employees caught in corruption cases. He said that government keeps several facts in the mind before reinstating such officers. On the first day of the state level fair famous folk singer of the state Kuldeep Sharma & many other groups forced thousand audiences to sit on their chairs till the late night.
