Six died in Himachal factory fire, 19 injured

Shimla: As many as six persons died and 19 were injured in a devastating fire which broke out in Advantic Factory manufacturing air conditioners situated at Dadi Kaniyan in Nalagarh Sub Division of Solan district in Himachal today. Those who died in the incident were identified as Jogender Pal, fireman, one Home Guard jawan deputed in fire-fighting department, Sanjeev Kumar Sahu of Allahabad, Anil Joshi of Delhi, Sachidanand and Dharamender Kumar Singh from Bihar whereas out of the nineteen injured nine have been rushed to PGI Chandigarh and the remaining ten admitted in Nalagarh Hospital. 

Smt. Prabha Rau, Governor and Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister have expressed grief over the mishap and expressed sympathies with the affected families. They have prayed to the Almighty to give peace to the departed souls and strength to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss. They have also wished for speedy recovery to the injured. 
Chief Minister has directed the district administration and Health Department to take stock of the situation on-the-spot and provide immediate relief to the affected families. 
Dr. Rajiv Bindal, Health Minister alongwith Dr. Amandeep Garg, Deputy Commissioner Solan, Shri S.K. Sood, ADGP and Ms. Mamta Chaudhary, CEO, Baddi-Barotiwala- Nalagarh Industrial Development Authority rushed to the site of the incident and supervised the relief and rescue operations and expressed grief over the incident. 
Hari Narayan Saini and Smt. Vinod Chandel, MLAs also visited the incident spot and condoled the death of six persons as well as wished for speedy recovery of the injured.
