Chandigarh: The Government Medical College & Hospital (GMCH), Chandigarh, has been notified as Study Centre for Post-Graduate Diploma in Disability Management for Medical Practitioner (PGDMT). The diploma would be awarded by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi.
It has been recognized as center to conduct this diploma course after ascertaining the availability of infrastructure and academic expertise for providing support services to the
learners of PGDMT. IGNOU has recognized only 17 institutions all over the country. Prof. Raj Bahadur would be in charge of this programme at Chandigarh.
The other centres are at Thiruvananthapuram, Guwhati, Jaipur, Lucknw, Hyderabad, Srinagar, Pune, Bhubaneswar, Ahmedabad, Dehradun, Patna, Delhi-1, Chennai-2, Bangalore, Gangtok.
