Himachal BJP is violating the model code of conduct: Mussafir

march-19aNahan: Senior Congress leader and former assembly speaker Gangu Ram Mussafir alleged Himachal BJP for violating the model code of conduct during the party workers meeting at Sarhan on Wednesday. Interacting with media persons here this evening at Congress Bhawan Mussafir alleged that meeting was organized in sports stadium which was a government premises. He alleged that the employees of the different department openly participated in the meeting and even worked hard to make this meeting of ruling party a grand success.

He said that the employees also shouted slogans in favor of health minister Rajiv Bindal who was the main speaker of the meeting. He demanded election commission to transfer the employees who participated in the BJP meeting so that a partial and smooth election could be conducted in the Pachhad constituency. It is worthwhile to mention here that senior congress leader has also coded the names of those employees in the complaint which was submitted to district election officer and deputy commissioner this evening for violating the code of conduct. Mr. Mussafir alleged that the BJP was completely using the official machinery and even threaten were also being given to every section of the society. Mussafir said that even a workshop on NAREGA was also scheduled at Sarhan on Wednesday and the participants were sent to party workers meeting of BJP. Former assembly speaker Gangu ram mussafir also said that even BJP leaders had also accepted the defeat in Shimla parliament seats. District youth congress president Arun Mehata, State congress secretary Ajay Solanki, Kavita Singh and Satya Parmar were also present on the occasion.
