Department of Tourism and Civil Aviation, Himachal Pradesh invites proposals for ropeways

Shimla: The Department of Tourism and Civil Aviation, Himachal Pradesh, has invited proposals for installing ropeways in major tourist places in the State with private sector participation. The proposals invited are for Bhuntar to Bijli Mahadev ropeway in Kullu district, Dharamkot to Triund ropeway in Kangra district and Palchan to Rohtang ropeway in Kullu district.

Official Spokesman of the Department said in a press release today that the Department has invited tender for three ropeways in major national newspapers and detail is also available on the departmental website www.himachaltourism.gov.in and the interested parties can contact the department in this regard. The last date for submission of the bids is May 5th and 18th and 9th June, 2009 respectively.
