Chandigarh DAV College donates 135 units of blood
Chandigarh: The NSS Club, the Rotract club and the medical committee of the MCM DAV College for Women, Sector 36 
in collaboration with the Rotary Blood Bank Society, Chandigarh. organised a blood donation camp in College premises on Monday. On this occasion Director Higher Education, Chandigarh Administration Raji P. Shrivastava, was the chief guest. Students responded to the event in large number and the donors included parents of students and faculty members of the college too. The Principal of the College Dr. Puneet Bedi applauded the efforts of the college faculty and volunteers and iterated upon the significance of spreading awareness regarding voluntary donation. The college donated a breathtaking 135 units of blood to the Rotary Blood Bank Resource Centre, Sector 37, Chandigarh. Vice President of the Rotary Blood Bank Society Meena Kashyap was also the present in this event.
