AMU film club to organise second National Film festival
Aligarh: The Film Club, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh is going to organize the Second National Film Festival of short films and documentaries Filmsaaz 2009 from February 26th to 2nd March.
According to the Secretary University Film Club, Adil Hussain, this short film festival is aiming to crave out the hidden talents from the young film maker across the country. He told that participants can submit their films in various formats like mobile phone, Handi Cam/Digi Cam and other sophisticated cameras and slide show in documentary (5 to 30 minutes), short fiction (2 to 20 minutes, Music videos (Original score/sync sovind 2 to 15 minutes) and animation 1-20 minutes category.
Adil Hossain told that the basis of judgment will be originality of the concept, continuity/flow, aesthetic value and technical expertise. Eminent directors and film makers will judge the winner of the different categories. The last date of entry is February 22, 2009.
