Chief Justice Bhalaa to inaugurate judicial complex at Nahan

Nahan: Chief justice Honorable Jagdish Bhalla would inaugurate new building of judicial complex on Sunday constructed at the cost of 6.25 crores. The foundation of the building was laid on 5th September2006 by Justice (Mr.) V.K. gupta then chief Justice of the state.

According to Justice V.K. Gupta, district and Session judge this would not only provide better facilities and amenities to all concerned but it would strengthen the judicial delivery system also.

He also informed that Justice (Mr.) Surjit Singh Honorable judge High court would also be present in the inauguration function of the building. The building has six spacious court rooms for the presiding officers, bar room for lawyers as well as magnificent library for judges and separate library for others. Although, for the last many years efforts were being made to bring all courts at one place but it matured in 2006 when the foundation was laid. In the context of the district the building was first its kind, which has several features.

District and Session judge Justice V. K, Gupta also said that due to the separate court complexes in Nahan the litigants and lawyers were facing a difficulty. He also added that the building was constructed at a record time  The building was designed with hill architecture, which matches the surroundings and the environment of the town.
