Shimla: A Spokesman of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department disclosed here today that the Department was implementing a scheme training and proficiency in computer applications and allied activities to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC and Minorities. He said that the Department would impart eight months training in ‘Certificate in Computerized Accounting’ in Tally Courses to 287 candidates in all districts of the State from 25th March, 2008. The Course would be coordinated by Tally (India) Private Ltd. Bangalore.
He said that the department would bear the fee expenses of Rs. 1200 per month and would also provide a scholarship of Rs. 1000 per month to the trainees during the course. He said that the Course would impart training in finance and accounting and help in providing employment to the trainees in private sector besides setting up of self-employment ventures.
The Spokesman said that the candidates should be between 18 to 35 years, 10+2 and members of BPL families or those whose family monthly income was less than Rs. 5000. He said that interested candidates could apply on plain paper alongwith attested copies of minimum educational qualfication/10th/BPL/annual income/bonafide himachali certificates to the concerned District Welfare Officer before 10th March, 2008.
