Chandigarh sanctions 19 posts for people friendly services
Chandigarh: In order to provide more transparent, coherent, and people friendly services, the Chandigarh Administration has sanctioned 19 posts to be seated in the New Building Branch, Licensing Branch (Colony), Tax Branch, Estate Branch and Accounts Branch.
Administration has already approved for the new building branch which would be established in the MCC. UT Home and Local Government Secretary, Mr. Krishna
Mohan said that 19 posts have been sanctioned including SDO (Building and Enforcement), Sectional Officer, Head Draftsman, Draftsman, Clerk (Record Keeper), Clerk (Dispatch/Receipt), Process Server and Peon.
The establishment of new offices would make the functioning easier and will be an ease for people from rural areas, Mr. Mohan added. The above decisions of the
Administration will also help in expediting the decision making and enforcement, he further added.
