NAHAN : BJP M.P. and former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today ragged Chief Minister Vir Bhadra Singh on corruption issue and made several announcements for different section of people, in three election rallies addressed by him at Paonta, Rajpur in Shillai constituency and at Trilokpur in Nahan assembly segment.
Prem Kumar Dhumal termed Virbhadra government as one of the most corrupt government in the country. He said that corruption during Congress regime has touched new heights in the state. Ministers, legislators, Chief Minister and his office were facing corruption charges. He alleged that it has been proved that dishonest and corrupt people have ruled the state and looted people to fill their own and their supporter’s pockets.
He raised issues of CD of Chief Minister and missing of cash bag of 1.15 crores from the office of Chief Minister and expressed his surprise as Chief Minister did not order any inquiry to certify the authenticity of CD even after expire of several months and no FIR was registered even after missing over one crore.
Former Chief Minister alleged that when ever Congress has come in power in the state, it has brought corruption, price rise and unemployment in the state with its rule.
He announced to give several concessions and benefits to women, farmers, horticulturists and employees in the state after coming in the power. He announced that gazetted holiday would be declared on Karwa Chouth, Bhayaduj and Raksha Bandhan. All sisters going to tie Rakhi or Bhayaduj Tilak to their brothers would be allowed to travel free in the government owned buses. He said that his party would give 50 percent reservation to the women in Panchyati Raj.
Assuring government employees to be fearless as their all interests would be watched by the BJP government. He said that Congress tradition of Badla-Badli’ would come to an end with the defeat of Congress in the state. He assured that no government employee would be victimized on political ground and all employees would be adjusted near their homes so that they could also carry on their social and family obligations along with the government job without any hindrance.
He assured that sixth pay commissioned would be implemented in the state as soon as report is received. He said that interim relief would be released to the state government employees till the pay commission report is received. He alleged that state government has harassed employees recruited during BJP tenure in the state but now they would get relief after BJP is voted to power in the state. He reminded that fifth pay commission was also implemented by BJP government in the state.
Mr Dhumal said that to grant benefits in a big way for the promotion of agriculture and Horticulture as top priority of the government in the state, a special policy would be immediately announced after coming in power. He said that agriculture land horticulture has suffered big set back in the state due to no agricultural and horticulture pl0olicy announced by Congress government.
He said that 50 percent vacancies of teachers, doctors and engineers would be filled up through batch wise recruitment and rest of 50 percent would be filled up through service commission.
Dhumal announced that after returning to power SADA and Town and Country Planning [TCP] act would be removed from the villages adjacent to towns and industrial areas. He said that due to implementation of these Acts in the villages, people were facing big harassment in the state.
In Paonta, Mr Dhumal shared stage with Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal and appealed to vote for Sukh Ram, in Rajpur he campaigned for Baldev Tomar BJP candidate fro Shillai and in Trilokpur he campaigned for party candidate form Nahan segment Kumari Shyama Sharma.
