Amritsar : Punjab minister for information and public relations Bikram Majithia here today said a farm science centre (Krishi Vigyan kendra) would be set up at Nagkalan village in Majitha constituency. Run by PunjabAgriculturalUniversity, the farm centre will aim at disseminating latest technology among farmers of the area to make agriculture remunerative.Majithia stated this at a gathering of farmers in his constituency. The government had already taken a decision in this regard, he said.Majithia lauded Jahangir and Nagkalan panchyats, for donating land for the KVK. He also held a sangat darshan programme.
