Mankotia ragged Himachal Chief Minister on corruption issue

NAHAN: Convener of Bahujan Samaj Party Major Vijay Singh Mankotia along with BSP state inchage Man Singh Manhera today addressed a public meeting at Shillai and another a poorly attended public meeting at Bara Chowk in Nahan town. In his speeches Mankotia leveled several corruption charges against Chief Minister and his wife including CD issue.

Major alleged that Congress and BJP had divided people in the state while BSP was trying to promote brotherhood among the people of different sections and areas in the state. He said that at this stage, people of Himachal Pradesh want a change and they were viewing BSP as better alternative. He claimed that BSP would come in power at its own in the state.

He said that Congress has pushed the state to the worst, at this time out of 65 lacs, 15 lacs were unemployed in the state. He charged that Congress always made false claims regarding providing 70 percent employment to the youth of the state in the private sector. He claimed that in fact only 15 to 20 percent Himachlies were employed in the factories. He said that if BSP is voted to power every hand, even illiterate would also get employment in the state as employment generating projects would be launched in the state.

He also attacked MLAs of Sirmour calling them as Mouni Baba, he alleged that he had never seen MLAs of Sirmour fighting for the development of Sirmour, thats why today Sirmour is one of most back ward district of the state. Citing his own example he said that he fought for the development of Kangra district with the Congress leadership and resigned from the Congress as government had ignored the development of Kangra district, but no such example was ever set by the MLAs of Sirmour District.

Man Singh Manhera also made several allegations against Congress and BJP leaders in his speeches.

In Shillai, Raksha Negi, Daughter in law of senior Congress leader of Shillai, Lal Singh Negi who is only aspirant for BSP ticket from Shillai was projected as candidate in the meeting while no such projection was made in the poorly attended meeting at Nahan by the BSP leaders, who looked quite unhappy on the poor attendance of people at Nahan. Shillai rally was called a successful with attendance of over one thousand of people.
