AMMAN: Around 13 civilians were killed and 33 others injured by shells fired by rebels on areas in Aleppo, North Syria, Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported Monday.

Rebel forces fired shells on Syrian regime-controlled areas within the vicinity of Saad Allah Al-Jabry, Baron street, Al-Jamilia, and other areas near Aleppo city, killing 13 people and wounding 33 others, among whom 10 were in critical condition, SOHR said in a statement.

Meanwhile, five children were killed today by air raids using explosive barrels on Tafs district in Daraa’s outskirts, south of Syria, said SOHR.
